چکیده

The Integral Theory approach is used to explore the stability and dynamics of a free double-sided symmetric thin liquid film. For Newtonian with non-variable density moving viscosity, flowing in thinning layer analyzed two dimensions. To construct an equation that governs such flow, Navier Stokes formulas are utilized proper boundary conditions zero shear stress conjointly normal on bounding surfaces dimensionless variables. After that, equations non-linear evolution structure thickness, local stream rate, unknown functions can be solved by using straight investigation, mode strategy moreover connected these reveal critical condition. characteristic for growth rate wave number MATLAM programming show region stable unstable films. As result our research, we able demonstrate effect thin, free, component.

Stability of an evaporating thin liquid film

We use a newly developed set of boundary conditions to revisit the problem of an evaporating thin liquid film. In particular, instead of the conventional Hertz–Knudsen– Langmuir equation for the evaporation mass flux we impose a more general equation expressing the balance of configurational momentum. This balance, which supplements the conventional conditions enforcing the balances of mass, mo...

Design Optimization and Construction of Double-Sided Linear Induction Motor

Linear induction motors have single and double-sided structures which are used in special applications, according to their advantages and disadvantages. Due to advantages such as lack of normal forces in double-sided type, these motors are more controllable and popular than the single-sided type, especially for transportation applications.  In literature, single-sided linear induction motors ha...

Linear stability analysis of an insoluble surfactant monolayer spreading on a thin liquid film

Recent experiments by several groups have uncovered a novel fingering instability in the spreading of surface active material on a thin liquid film. The mechanism responsible for this instability is yet to be determined. In an effort to understand this phenomenon and isolate a possible mechanism, we have investigated the linear stability of a coupled set of equations describing the Marangoni sp...

Linear Stability of Selfsimilar Solutions of Unstable Thin-film Equations

We study the linear stability of selfsimilar solutions of long-wave unstable thin-film equations with power-law nonlinearities ut = −(u nuxxx + u mux)x 0 < n < 3, n ≤ m Steady states, which exist for all values of m and n above, are shown to be stable if m ≤ n + 2 when 0 < n ≤ 2, marginally stable if m ≤ n + 2 when 2 < n < 3 and unstable otherwise. Dynamical selfsimilar solutions are known to e...

Axially Symmetric Vibrations of a Liquid-Filled Poroelastic Thin Cylinder Saturated with Two Immiscible Liquids Surrounded by a Liquid

This paper studies axially symmetric vibrations of a liquid-filled poroelastic thin cylinder saturated with two immiscible liquids of infinite extent that is surrounded by an inviscid elastic liquid. By considering the stress free boundaries, the frequency equation is obtained. Particular case, namely, liquid-filled poroelastic cylinder saturated with single liquid is discussed.  When the waven...
